Today I had a school presentation where I placed my thinkpad t400 next to the projector in such a way that the projector's exhaust shot hot air directly onto the back of my screen.

After an hour, I realized this and when I touched the back of my screen it was more than hot enough to cook an egg.

Does this in some way harmful for my thinkpad? I'm worried.

    Thanks in advance!

the screen should be okay up to 50 degrees. It should be okay if it was an once off event.
