the standard is 32mb radeon card, is there anyway to upgrade this myself? I havent bought one yet but i really want to. Also the max screen size is like 1024-768, that seems pretty small to me. does it look ok? right now im running 1280x1024 on my 19" lcd, im not sure if i can handle such a crappy resolution.
    any help would be great

    thanks.
most of the 64-128meg card options are so much more than the base model. im just looking on the ibm website though. anyone have the 14inch with more than 32meg graphics?

You can get higher resolutions on both the 14 and 15 inch models - both SXGA (1400) and UXGA (1600 - I think). You can also get a 64 meg video card on both models, and even a 128 meg card on the 15 inch. I wouldn't want the UXGA (fonts are way too small), but you can get an SXGA with a better video card if you are willing to pay more.

And I wouldn't bother trying to upgrade the card yourself - if you want more power, just get the newer 64 or 128 meg card options when you buy it.
