I'm thinking of getting a z61t, but I was wondering how the battery was like with a 7cell. I read some reviews that on the z60t, 7cell battery life was just ok. Can anyone shed any light? I think the actually batteries used in both models are the same so maybe there is no difference at all? Hopefully the z61t is somehow more efficient on energy.

In the case that battery life is only ok, I'll probably opt to go with a t60 w/ a 9cell battery. Thanks ahead for any replies.

you can also use the ultrabay battery. I have a z60t with the 4cell battery and it lasts about 2.5 hours, but the ultrabay battery helps quite a bit and doesn't stick out the back which I don't care for.

Thanks for the info, I never considered doing that. Does it make the computer any warmer/hotter in the spot where the ultrabay battery is?
