i updated thinkvantage productivity center to version 3.10 today and can't get it opened, even using the thinkvantage button.

with the very old old version, it works fine. any idea?

Thats pretty harsh, I doubt it has much to do with it.

I think a lot of people here don't run the full set of programs. I know that I only run powermanager, ultranav, APS, system update, and the fingerprint software.

System Update seems to suggest that something has changed after its last update, and no longer works as before.

I would expect that you just have a bug. Try downloading the version before the one that doesn't work, or wait and try the next one that comes out. If that doesn't fix it then call support and see if they can help you (if your under warantee).

I've been dealing with this for over a year, with my R61e. Spoke with support who suggested fixes that don't work. It does work at bootup to interupt nomal boot.

Yeah it wasn't the reason. English has no neuter 2nd person plural, get over it Renee. Or learn German. I'm tired of PC non-sense.

Yup, he seems to be very focused on gender for no apparent reason:

"Poor ladies" seems to be the modus operandi, not realising the irony

Anyway, so the concensus is that it's because some Thinkvantage software is deleted? I'm writing these things down, so I won't -up mine when I get it (don't worry, I will screw things up, lol).
