    tpfancontrol bios mode levels

    Hi,

    Does anyone know the fan levels used when tpfc is in bios mode?

    At the moment I have (for gaming):

    Level=22 0
    Level=33 1
    Level=38 2
    Level=50 3
    Level=55 4
    Level=66 6
    Level=82 7
    Level=89 128 (is to bios)

    So if it hits 89 degree it will go in bios mode, when it hits 82 again it will go to level 7. I wonder what level the fan is between 89 degrees and 82 degrees, controlled by the bios. Does anyone know?

    I am afraid that between those temperatures the bios is letting the fan spin to slow. When I game the temperatures are always between 82 and 89 degrees...

    (Don't want to set level 7 to far away (lower) from bios mode, since I believe bios mode cools to little. But I would have prefered to have tpfc enter level 7 on a lower temperature)

    BIOS mode simply means that the fan temp thresholds programmed into the BIOS will take effect rather than being overridden by the OS or TPFC software.

    values depend entirely on the system and intended use.   if your numbers work for you then run with them. ;)
