    trying to install OS cant pass this screen T430s

    long time NBR user in the past. cant remember login info so had to create this new one

    anyways, got a used t430s and trying to install windows 7 and I cant pass this screen


    slipped the oem disc it in the drive, and I get this screen

    but pressing enter on the dvd option does nothing. it keeps flashing for a second but does nothing. doesnt progress.

    any help appreciated.

    @rocketman122 take a look at BIOS settings, you probably need to enable legacy/CSM boot mode.

    I'd like to add that T430s will run 10 perfectly fine, and it will be more responsive than 7.
