I just bought a T61 with discrete graphics, and a 2.2gig dual core processor. I go to install wow and it is telling me I have insufficent CPU speed, despite being over the requirements. Should I just go ahead and install anyway?

it will probably work fine. the only thing i can think of that might give you problems the first time is your video card drivers. if the game looks weird/doesn't play correctly, look into updating your drivers.

I also play WoW, and it gave me the same warning... Install it anyway it'll run just fine!! (don't push the graphics though! :p)
    I have a T7500 with NVS140M and 4GB of RAM.

the only problem i have with WoW is that sometimes when i exit the game, i receive a BSOD stating my video memory manager has experienced a fatal error. it's only when i exit the game though, and it's only WoW.

many other people have this problem according to the internet (nvidia forums/WoW forums). no solution yet though... :(

Cool thanks. Just how much do you think I will be able to push the graphics? Keeping in mind I will be running dual monitors with one of them running itunes.

Yea, just so you know, it's because the game was made a while ago, about 4 years ago. Back then, processors were pushing 3ghz, dual-core processors didn't exist, the installer just checks your processor, says wham low speed and warns you. Install anyway, it works fine.

try maxing everything out and see what happens, and work it out from there. push things down as needed; should be alright...
