    Howdy!

I purchased a u430 touch for myself back in early October, and a friend of mine liked it so much he bought himself one as well.

Mine was manufactured on the 5th of September, his the 9th

My keyboard backlight colour is a very natural white light and the keys have a very solid "stop" to their motion, his backlight almost purple / lilac and the keys have a softer stop to their motion, I actually really really like his keyboard more than mine, and he preferred mine, so we swapped units!

Obviously this could indicate different suppliers of the LED components of the backlight or the keyboard itself, was just wondering what your keys felt like and what colour the backlight is on yours? Just out of curiosity more than anything

ill try to get a comparison photo up tomorrow

ThinkPad keyboard parts/FRU's are often made by multiple vendors (Chicony, LiteOn etc...), so this isn't entirely unexpected perhaps, but nonetheless interesting.
