    I have an ultrabase series 3 docking station without a dvd. Since the official lenovo dvd-rw drives are about $100, I'm looking for alternates. All I know is it should be sata and 9.5mm thick (standard being 12.7mm, or so it seems...).

    Any suggestions as to what to get?

    Look on eBay for a used drive or you post over in the Marketplace forum on ThinkPads.com to see if anyone has an extra they'll sell you, hopefully for less.
