    I run a Lenovo SL-500 notebook, type 2746-73U. CD-Rom is
listed first in my CMOS boot order. I am able to burn ISO's to
my combo drive, and restore backups from this drive, but my system
will not boot from this drive.
I have tried to boot a CD-R and DVD+RW, each with a stable
G-Parted iso burned on to them, as well as from my Windows XP
setup disk, all to no avail - it always goes straight to my WinXP
logon screen. Any suggestions anybody? Regards, Jeff
