I recently played around with ubuntu and so I far love it, however my laptop isn't that smooth when running various effects that's makes ubuntu so much more fun than windows 7, I have to limit myself to only one monitor at the moment, if I run two external monitors, I have to disable all visual effects.

Should I should upgrade to a more powerful laptops such as the T series or vidock with external graphics card. I am more inclined towards vidock because it is cheaper and the gpu will be more powerful.

Your input will be highly appreciated.

    thanks.

The question remains, how well does the ViDock work with Linux?
