    greetings

i'm upgrading my sl410 from intel 1000 to intel 5100 cuz i need

    dual-band capacity that 5100 has.

    sl410 is running windows 7 32bit edition.

what's the way to go about it? should i remove some programs and/or drivers before i physically replace the cards?

or can i replace the cards without tinkering the windows 7 as windows 7 seems to do everything automatically pretty well.

i'd rather not re-install the windows but at the same time, i want the process to be as clean as possbile.

    advices appreciated! thanks

I would just remove the card and install the latest drivers from Intel.
