hi, guys, i ordered a T61 from Lenovo website on 22nd feb 08 by using 10% ecoupon, now the price is down, and i check the CPP price, it is much less than the price i paid.
Could anyone tell me, can i use the current CPP quote to do price match and get the credit back?
    Appreciate.

I just ordered a T61p from the Canada Friend's EPP and forgot to apply a 10% off coupon. I called up Lenovo Canada, they did a build for me over the phone, attached the coupon (saving me an additional $150 over the $800 I've already saved) and they said that it was taken care of. Apparently they just need a screen shot of the new price from their computer and they adjust the price accordingly for us. Pretty sweet if you ask me.

Get a CPP quote for the same exact system, and call them. They'll make sure it's identical and credit you the difference, afaik.

I got another information that price match is valid for 21 days after original order ships. which one is right? I ordered on 2/22/08, and shipped on 2/25/2008.

I don't think you can price match CPP pricing if you are not elegible to buy from the CPP program.

I was told by a Lenovo rep that it's from the day that you ordered it. In your case the date would be 2/22/08.

I was also told that it can only be applied once.

yeah, you are right, anyway i tried price match with cpp price on the last Thursday, failed.
I am going to do price match today, because the rep told me on Thurday that I have 5 more days, it should count from 25/2/08

hehe, I ordered on the lenovo.com website with the 20% off last time. A week later, went to cpp and make a qoute and the rep took it without any question. Got my refund within a week.

CPP does work. Just don't tell them its from CPP. Call up and give them your original order number and the qoute. That is it.
