I know this is probably a stupid question. I plug the monitor into the laptop, but no image goes up on the monitor. What step am I missing?

Thanks. Just an extension on this. I got it setup to use dual screens now. However when I launch a game I can no longer use dual screens. Ideally I would have the game on one screen, and itunes on the other. Is there anyway I can actually accomplish this?

If you have the Nvidia manager, you can go in to that control panel and I believe there is a tab called multiple monitors. Once there you will find an option to allow two different screens. The only down side to this will be that you cannot just move the mouse over to change the itunes song. If you minimize while in the game to switch over, the game will minimize to desktop. Just a word of caution.
