really considering the z61m, however, i need a graphics card but i really cant stand using sxga+ resolution (too small), used to have it on a dell and found myself constantly reverting to xga and eventually keeping it on xga, of course running resolution that was not made for laptop screen is bad so i returned it. I know in nvidia control panel there is a way to scale the resolution using the graphic card panel so the computer still thinks its sxga but its liked zoomed in, does ati have this feature, does anybody know what im talking about, thanks

There are other good notebooks like the HP nc8430 which offer WXGA and can be had with the x1600. There is no way to scale on a LCD. If it is not running in its native resolution, it will look blurry. Increasing the DPI is an option.
