Whenever I move my thinkpad w520 quickly, my video and it's sound stalls for a second or two. Everything else seems to be working fine, like nothing else freezes.
Why does this happen? Is it normal?

Were you playing a movie (video and sound) from the hard drive when you moved the W520 abruptly?

I'm thinking of Active Protection Systemâ„¢ at work.

That's what I thought at first, but no, I was streaming it from online. Also apparently when active protection does stop the hard drive, it pops up with a message.
