    visa discount is better than labor day sale

    Assuming you plan on paying with your visa, its 50 bucks cheaper, give or take. Just google "visa lenovo" and go from there.

    that's interesting. i got this link when i google "visa lenovo".

    the first two thinkpad offers there were 20% or more. One showed "Valid from 05/01/2007 to 10/31/2007" and the other "Valid from 09/01/2007 to 02/29/2008"...

    Are the prices I'm looking at going to go up tomorrow? or are these discounts completely irrespective of the labor day sale?

    EDIT - what's weird is that the links from visa's website ( http://www.lenovo.com/shop/deals/visa) were sending me to the National Association of Realtors offer when you click "redeem offer". That was using Firefox. So, I popped open IE and went to the student discount page. Then when I followed the same links from visa's site (redeem offer), this time I went to the education discount. It makes no sense to me... their site is messed up.

    the visa discount combined with the labor day discount through those 20% off links is what i meant, not sure if u can still use it though
