Ok, it's been out of the box for 3 hours now and just really getting to play.

Machine has a solid feel from the beginning. I do have a little flex in the palm rest, left side of the touch pad. It's worse right up next to the keyboard, but think I have a loose screw from doing the Ram upgrade(will fix later).

Screen looks really good to my untrained eye, but I will the check the monitor thing just because of reading these forums and I have to know.. samsung/lg ;)

Decided to just let the updates run and then going to start the back up process in preparation for the clean install. Still going back and forth from Vista to XP. I love XP, but Vista is the future so might just want to get used to it and figure it out like I did with XP when it first arrive..no flames please :p

Machine is ripping through the updates.. should have just stopped it and started the back up though.. I want to be playing CoD4 tomorrow night.

aight updates are done for now, back to play time..

edit.. order date was 11/30 and UPS screwed for a full day

like a kid in a candy store :D

    Gravie,

I have your PC specs as well....received my PC yesterday. XPP is my 0/s. I didn't want to take a chance on speed and compatibility with gaming or other software.

I do have Linux Slackware via VMware 6.02 though.

And, yes! I have the LG screen which is absolutely beautiful!

    Report your progress please.
