    w500 fingerprint reader

    Hi!

    I have a Lenovo W500, but it doesn't have a fingerprint reader. I was wondering, if I order a compatible palmrest with fingerprint reader (44C0664 Palm rest assembly with fingerprint reader), will it work or the motherboard is missing some components which is necessary for the fingerprint reader to work?

    The motherboard should have the necessary connector, all you need is a palmrest with the fingerprint reader.
