    Yes, you can buy this. Before you buy make sure preinstalled memory is of same speed i.e. ddr3 pc8500.

    I am not sure about low density...
    Make sure to run Memtest86 after you buy memory.
    Also make sure it has good return policy, you might have to return it if it does not pass memtest. Memtest86.com - Memory Diagnostic
