w510 users. Is there anything specific I should look at on a used w510?

Are there any known issues I should look for, any gripes? Should I avoid a used w510?

My W510 has been working very nicely for years. It's running a little hotter and louder these days, but that seems to happen with all machines. Probably time for another good cleaning.

No problems here either, on a daily-used W510 from March 2010.

It isn't an ultrabook. Make sure you have a good backpack. I use a Wenger Synergy. Shop for a good price. One of the best packs on the market still.

Aside from being quite warm, mine is usually around 55-65 degrees when using it in the docking station I've had no problems with it. It's my daily work station and it's on 24/7 on weekdays, it's probrably been my most stable machine ever.

I don't take it with me very often, it's quite bulky especially with the 9-cell battery and the battery time is not that great, I usually always have my T430s with me everywhere.
