Late last year Lenovo was offering the X200 Tablets (with multi-touch) as cheap as $1250 or so (via stackable coupons etc.) They no longer sell x200, I gather.

I'm in the market for a new tablet. How long do you figure it would be before for the X201s are offered at decent prices like that? A few months? Years? If the latter, might have to give up and settle for an X200 via a reseller, although even the resellers aren't approaching that price for multi-touch.

    Thanks for your help!

I've seen it go both ways. Usually it will decrease over time until the new models come out, but not always. A few months after the X60 was released it hit $800 with coupons and was never that low again until it hit the outlet. To answer your question, your guess is as good as mine, but be ready when it hits your price range.
