I have a thinkpad t61p and I'm playing warcraft 3 frozen throne online.. with no AC support just running the laptop off the battery. The door rings so I stop playing and place the laptop off my lap and onto the bed. *alittle movement there* then i proceed to come back to my laptop and notice that my game against four other opponent online has complete frozen...Can't task out of it. I end up having to manually reboot. What a PITA..I believe the IBM built shock sensor thingy is at fault. Should this effect freeze my game like that? But how can i avoid this instead of shutting the shock sensor off everytime i want to play wc3. Any insight would help. Also does anyone share similar problems?

i dont think its the active protection doing it. i was playing once, and had to take a ****. so i unplugged everything, and brought the laptop with me to the restroom (alot of movement), and continued to play and when i finished, i went back and plugged everything back in while still in the same game.
i was playing a custom game, not dota or ladder. -
sorry to revive this old thread, but i'm also having difficulties with wc3 on my t61p. upgraded drivers, etc. it works fine with half-life 2, battlefield 2, et. al. any idea why wc3 specifically causes system freeze?
