I bay my T61 in 25/06/2008 in USA with warranty pack :

41c9161 -Lenovo thinkplus extended service agreement-2 years - pick up and return. This cost me 140 $

Warranty pack was bought WITH laptop (on the lenovo www - configuration to order ). Lenovo doesn't sent me any warranty card or extended warranty number for register.

now i went to authorized service center in Poland and they want warranty card but they say the laptop is out of warranty - there are any record with my extended warranty pack what i was bought - only 12 month standard warranty.

Calling the lenovo Poland - thay say : "sorry i can't help you"

    What I can do ??
Did the laptop by in 2008 have 24 mounth warranty ??
when i can get the warranty card ??

Typically configure to order notebooks bought from Lenovo.com do not have international warranties. I don't know about Poland, but in the US you don't need a warranty card because they use the machine's serial number for warranty verification. You can use the link here to look up the status of your warranty. Did you save any of the paperwork from the sale?

in this site is only STANDARD Warranty - my status :

Out of warranty 2009-06-28 UNITED STATES

    I have all papers
I'm live now in Poland and I want repair my lap in PL
They have a International Warranty - I repair my T61 in Poland on standard warranty 3 mounts after bay and was no problem with that.

That seems to indicate either your extension was not entered into the system or that your extension was not international. Maybe you should have a friend or family member in the states follow up with Lenovo. That way worse case scenario you would have to send it to them in the states, so they can have it repaired for you.

I don't know what to tell you, but as I said CTO notebooks bought from Lenovo.com do not usually have international warranty coverage. Perhaps you should contact [email protected]. He may be able to help you. He has an account here, but you're probably better off sending him a PM over at the Lenovo forums.
