    warranty starts from day of purchase or day of registration?

    found a listing on ebay that say:
    2 MONTHS WARRANTY WHEN YOU REGISTER NOTEBOOK WITH LENOVO

    is that true? of its from the moment this seller has purchase the laptop?

    and is there a way to confirm via lenovo.com ?

    Purchase date with proof or date of manufacture with no proof.

    so what the seller is claiming us wrong, 1 year from registering the laptop at lenovo.com ?

    The warranty belongs to the system and not the owner.

    I've never registered a new or used notebook with IBM or Lenovo, and it's never affected my warranty status. This is in the USA, so YMMV.

    Get the serial number from the seller, and check the warranty status yourself using the tool I provided above.
