    weird problem with the sleeping "beep"

    so usually when i put the laptop to sleep or wake it up, it will beep. i kind of like that beep. but lately, at random instances, when i put the laptop to sleep or wake it up, the laptop doesn't make that beep sound. any idea as to what is causing the problem? i'm pretty sure this problem has just developed. i am using a x201

    by the way, when this happens the laptop is not mute
