i'm wondering if any of you guys have experience this. when i am on "0" brightness and sometimes if i raise it to "1" brightness the backlight dims down and turns off i think and then goes to "1" level. is this normal? other than that there's nothing wrong with it. this only happens from 0 to 1 and doesn't happen everytime. can anyone try it out for me? just go to 0 and wait a few seconds (maybe until the osd goes away) and go up to 1.

Yeah I noticed mine does that too from 0 to 1 only. And just like you it happens sometimes too although mine doesn't necessarily "turn off" but it just gets really dim then goes to 1. Seems interesting to watch if you ask me.

alright good to know that i'm not the only one. is there a purpose for this? yeah just to summarize sometimes when i am at 0 and go to 1, the backlight will go darker ( less than 1) and then fade to 1.
