Upgraded to the T7300 processor because that was the one that really seemed worth it.

I went up to the T7300. It was something like $30 more, and you gain an extra 200MHz and double the L2 cache. Worth it in my opinion. The upgrades beyond that really aren't as worth it.

I also ordered T7300 for my 15.4 inch T61.... 4MB L2 cache is the main reason.

I went one step above the best bang for the buck i.e. T7500, but for $65 I figured what the heck.

Yea, I went for the T7500 too. It wasn't too much more IMO and I want something on par with my desktop performance.

I went for the T7500, only because I thought 200 bucks wasn't worth .2 ghz on the T7700...

T7300 should be the one to go with, also you'll get longer battery time.

I am poor. But still book one of T7300. L2 is more important than AMD's CPU.

7300.. For about 39 bucks it was totally worth the upgrade. Didn't see the point going for an extra .2 ghz to bump it. The cache was worth it.

Indeed, it's about extra 2 MB for L2 cache too.
