    Opened up the bottom of my new T410 and found this:

    Anyone know what those wires are for, and why they arent connected to anything?

    According to the Hardware Maintenance Manual, the two leads are for an optional WWAN module.

    EDIT: Beat to the chase :p - darkwish is correct.
