    i get these temps with HWmonitor at idle;

    TMHO 0 (integrated): 33 C
    TMHO 1 (discreet): 48 C

    cpu 0: 35 C
    cpu 1: 43 C

    HDD: 33 C

weird that they are always different (cpu) by about 8 degrees. do you guys have something similar? the t400 sure does run cool compared to my ifl-90!

i think tmho 0 is the integrated graphics, and tmho 1 is discreet? not sure.

You've got a T series processor. They're not as cool as the P series processors. When I had my machine, it wouldn't warm up even a bit. Only the upper left corner of the notebook would heat up a little since the processor was present in that section. But the harddrive and motherboard were exceptionally cool. Too cool for me I guess :p I have the habit of warming my hands on my machine when I'm in very cold environments and unfortunately the T400 wouldn't give me a chance to do it! :p

Hello your temps look pretty normal.
One CPU seems a little higher used than the other.
It´s the same on my T5600 on R60.

Interesting is for me and for example some others here,
what temps you get under heavy load.

    Regards
    Andreas

Your temps look perfectly fine. However, the THM0 & THM1 are most likely reading from sensors on the motherboard rather than the graphics adaptors. Maybe one of the sensors are located near the two IGP's and so you are seeing a bigger difference.

    The T400(P8600, 4500MHD) I'm using currently shows

    THM0 36C
    THM1 30C

    Core #0 25C
    Core #1 20C

    HDD 29C.

It could be because, like my friends core duo cpu that he had. 1 core stayed at full clock rate (1.6 ghz in his case) and the other core would scale between 798 mhz and 1.6 ghz.

maybe check your BIOS to see whether you have disabled one core?

My p8600 two cores temperatures never vary above 1degree
