    Someone can do a better job at this than me, but to get you started...

    The t42 is a progressive upgrade over the t41. The most major change is the use of the Dothan processor, which you can learn more about by searching the hardware forum. It also now comes in both 14 and 15" screens. I'm sure there are a few other updates, someone else will jump in with those I'm sure.
