notebook weight plus the weight of the adapter.
secondly, is the plug for the US version two or three pronged?
    and is the keyboard backlit?

can't give you exact weight, it's light on my back with backpack though.

the plug for US version is 2 pronged

no backlit keyboard, but Fn + PgUp will turn on a light above webcam that shines down on keyboard

about 200 g heavier if you account for the same 9 cells and power adapter.

looks like its concluding soon, most of the secrets are out, lots of people already dead or dying. only a few big fights left.. but who knows.. I thought Bleach would end after the main antagonist was defeated, then a whole new story followed after.

If you're looking for a ultraportable, the X220 is the real deal. The IPS screen and dual hard drives put it a cut above everything else.
