    when is the new T-series coming out?

    I was thinking of buying the thinkpad T61P. But after some research I hear theres a new and improved processor coming out this summer called Montevina.
    I want to use my laptop for lots work/documentation, movies, music and games, which is why i chose T61p.

    Is this Montevina supposed to be better than the core 2 duo? If its better I'll definitely wait, I'm not in hurry to buy a laptop..unless of course the price of the new T-series is outrageous. Do you guys know if the the new T-series will have same GPU as the T61p?

    not only will montevina be better, the new T series will have some features to improve battery life. The new T series will have a hybrid (integrated and discrete) video card.

    Expect to new line-up to be quite pricey upon release.

    Will the new Video card be better compared to the current Quadro FX 570M? Which one is better for gaming?

    Can't answer that since there is no solid benchmark to compare.
    Both should run games fine. However, my guess is that the new FireGL won't be weaker than the current Quadro one, otherwise Lenovo won't make a switch.
