Depends, which type do you want?
The SLI version? Or the Y500 with Bluray player/burner option?

The first isn't available yet, but it will probably be in about a week. I've found a site which listed the availability on 11-1-2013. /sidenote, feels funny writing 2013.
The Y500 with bluray is available in the Lenovo store and probably various other places online. Google a bit.

I have to say though. I am fed up with all this waiting. Either change the status, or sell the thing!

Indeed. I'm getting worried about the touchpad issue though.

    Seriously, what the ?
If I could speak decent German I'd give them a ring, sadly I can't. But this is the second delay already? How messed up is this.
I mean, is it that hard to have give a (right) indication on the shipping/availability date?
News about this laptop is ranging back to October, when I should have started going up for sale. 3 months later and it's still not here.

This is pretty disappointing IMO. I'm not sure what to do now. I don't really want to wait any longer, but I really prefer the SLI version.
If the extra GPU was available this would have been an easier choice. I could care less about the extra sum right now.

    On a related note.
With a bit of luck we might find the SLI model in a different store, not the Lenovo store.

The i7 model in the Netherlands has been up for sale in multiple stores since about 1 month ago. However the same model is listed as 'Verwacht op 11.01.2013' / Available on .....
So the Lenovo store is pretty messed up, and who knows we might find the SLI model in a different store in a week time.

Throwing in a random German store here, who lists the SLI for the 11th. Fingers crossed. https://www.123onlinebuy.de/Lenovo-CS-IdeaPad-Y500-i7-3630QM-2x4GB-39-62cm-(15-6'')-FHD-2x(SLI)-NVIDIA-GeForce-GT-650M-2-GB-1TB_16SD-Win-8-64bit-2-J/product.html/eid_2661805/

I hope so because I need a laptop.
Is it me or did you accidently swap the link and the description of the link :D? The thing with that site is when you go to specifications it says 1366x768 instead of full hd . The price of €750 is without taxes right?

Yeah I was in a hurry, seems like I messed up with the link.
Exactly the 750 without taxes. This should be the right link.

Now, let's hope those sites will get it the 11th. In the mean time I will search around a bit for different stores.
Another strange thing though, the 'Mediamarkt' in the Netherlands sells the i7 model. Considering Mediamarkt is a German store you'd expect the German counterpart to also sell it.
But they don't list it sadly. Mediamarkt would be a sweet place to get it, easy and quick. Oh and it bothers me, but they do sell a lot of Lenovo laptops, and when you look at the pictures they're all shown with a Qwerty keyboard. They're probably pulled from the Lenovo site, but I can't help but have some hope.

I've also been looking around but I have exams that I have to study for. Please let me know if you find something good.
