    Hello,
i bought an X300 and the ad was showing 3 cell battery, but it seems bigger than 3 cells

how do i confirm if its an 3 cell or 6 cell?

    Thanks

Take out the battery and locate the FRU#. Look that number up on Google and it should let you know.

well this thread confirmed it physically http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=237569

i do have 6 cells battery :( i wasted my money buying that extra 6 cells battery

do you think i should inform the seller maybe he placed it there by mistake when he upgraded the ram ? cause the MPU says its 2GB but it has 4GB as advertised.

id be happy if they sent me a better battery than i bought :), unless you would rather have it flush than the extra battery life... aslo if the 6 cell only last 2.5 hours maybe you will need the extra 6 cell anyways.
