    it was a Japanese movie "Death Note"...it was extreamly popular movie. this laptop was used by one of the FBI who was spying on the main character. ya.

    I like Ludlum's writing enough that I have trouble watching those two movies; they diverged so widely from the original novels (OT note: Richard Chamberlain did, IMHO, a much better version of "The Bourne Identity" that was done as a TV miniseries some years back).

    So, also OT: is the "Death Note" movie available with English subtitles? Was it any good? (Popular doesn't always mean good here in the States ;))
