    NvCPL NvMedia and NWIZ can be disabled.

    Just google what those things mean so you know if u need to disable or not

    why dont you just do a reformat and clean install. That way you get rid of all the junk

    it's a clean install, gamemint..

    I used arkit3kt's guide. The processes listed above come from the drivers and utilities he recommended.

    does anyone have link to the custom reinstall of vista (something like that) that lets you clean off most of the junk without actually reinstalling it? My x61 won't have an optical drive and I don't know think I will have a usb one soon..

    use "startup inspector"

    Don't forget to disable Indexing, do a complete defrag, and clean the registry with ccleaner

    BLOG (Battery Logger?) - Better than windows managment. It's the bettery life indicator on the task bar
    IAAnotif - Not sure?
    NvCplDaemon - Tried renables itself every bootup anyway
    NvMediaCenter - Renables itselft like above
    nwiz -yes
    PWRMGRTR - Related to blog
    SoundMax - Can if you don't care about the extra audio settings
    SoundMaxPnP - Not sure
    SynTPEnh - Not sure. Try it see if anything goes weird
    SynTPLpr - Not sure...
    TPHOTKEY - Depends if you use the hotkeys or not
    TPKMAPHELPER -Not sure what this is
