It doesn't matter, they are dirt cheap!
-
That wasn't the question. The question was which one to buy? If nothing made any difference anyway, why have this forum?
-
What are the screen and graphic options??
The two models are quite similar, but I would lean towards the T400 due to its superior battery life (especially with an LED screen). -

as ZaZ an Jon stated, the most important thing is why will you be using the laptop for?
And the T400 will give you better battery life with the LED screen. -
Dude?
So I've been demoted to a dude now?

If battery were critical I'd get the t400. I thought that went without saying.
-
I suppose both are widescreen? T400 will be faster and have a new CPU 45nm and the T61 is not sure to have a 65nm or a 45nm less heat.
-
I would go with the T400 if it has a LED backlit screen. Where did you find a T-400 with those spec's for $600?
-
Frankly I don't think there is a brand new T400 at that price, so you should be careful of fraudulent trading probability.
which one is a good one to buy ?
