Is anyone else experiencing some whining noise from capacitors or CPU or something alike?

also, is there anyway to toggle the cpu voltage of my laptop to reduce the speed of my cpu fan?

I don't hear anything like that...I only hear the hard drive spinning in a really quiet space. Other than that my T400 is really quiet o.o

if the power supply is making strange noises, then it is advisable that you call lenovo service and get a new one sent out.
