I accident dropped the laptop, it landed flat. Now the wifi light would turn off about 20 second seconds after boot up or if I press the palm area down.

How can I fix the issue?

Will buying a replacement wifi card fix the issue?

You may want to try reseating -- removing and inserting -- the WLAN card, at the same time checking the antenna connectors at the card. (Read the Hardware Maintenance Manual for your ThinkPad.)

It is hoped that things only got loose and were not damaged.

If that card is the only thing that is damaged, yes.

    mini USB wifi will work.

From memory the wifi card also works in the WWAN slot of the X200t, maybe you could try to switch the card to the other slot?
