If I keep the hidden partition and only delete the C drive, will I be able to restore using the ThinkVantage?

This is a good question. For me personally I don't care, but for the purposes of the guide and people like yourself who do care I would like to know so I can add the information to the clean install guide.
It seems like the blue ThinkVantage button and full functionality (including restoring from the hidden partition) should be possible if you have three things.
1. Keep the hidden partition.
2. Install ThinkVantage Productivity Center after the clean install.
3. Install Rescue and Recovery after the clean install.
If you try to do this please share your experiences in the clean install thread so I can provide this information in the guide.

I will
when I get my hard drive and ultrabay adapter -
The booting information was stored in MBR, so I would imagine that you can still access the hidden partition even if you format C:.
(Usually the windows partition is flagged as bootable, but if you click the blue button, you can see that the hidden partition is now flagged as "bootable")
But I am not 100% sure.
will I still be able to restore to factory settings if I format C drive?
