This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     a laptop with the 755 processor anytime soon?
    Also do they have and optional warranty like dell for accidents? thanks.t

    If you go to IBM's site and buy direct I think they have the 2.0Ghz CPUs. I don't think IBM has that, but it is a ripoff anyway. It is much cheaper to just buy your own personal articles insurance policy on your notebook. That way if anything happens you will be covered and not have to fight the manufacturer for repair or replacement and your not even tied to the that same manufactuer for the replacment notebook as you can buy any notebook you want.

    I've seen T42's for sale with the 755, but they were around $3500 [ :(]
