I wouldn't think so because it's a "special program" that requires that you make an account. Doesn't hurt to try, but you'll probably have to be extra persistent to get them to honor it. Being polite but persistent takes you a long way.

I don't really know who the B&N Gold site is actually intended for (faculty and students of WHAT?) but Lenovo sure doesn't mind anyone and everyone using it.
I'd be firm and polite. If they refuse, cancel on the spot and re-order with the B&N link (or take your dollar somewhere else).
I can't imagine why they wouldn't do some sort of adjustment. That B&N thing is basically the retail price since everyone uses it. -
Can I cancel for a full refund wihout restocking free? It's currently released to manufacturing
Ordered on 7/17 th -
Basically, confirm and confirm that they placed a note on your account that you tried to cancel prior to shipping and you can return with no re-stocking fee. When you get it, call Lenovo and they will send you a return label (free). -

I mean, do what you want. Don't listen to random internet advice. If the cost differential is worth it to you, I'd go for it. But it's a hassle for sure. If it was $50, I'd probably pass. If it was $300, I'd do it. Depends on how much your time is worth to you.
