    So yeah,

IBM/Lenovo Visaperks.ca has a t60 9 cell and an AC adapter for 99 bucks CAD. AC adapter is useless, i can sell that though for cheap.

I have a feeling I can use this battery in my r51, so is this possible?

No, it's not possible to use a T60 battery on an R51.
