I have a t500 and my aunt got me a windows 7 ultimate edition 32 bit. I am wondering if I should install this product.

Lenovo has released all the official drivers for Windows 7, but personally I would wait for a week or two more for all the transition buzz to die down a bit before upgrading. Hopefully then any issues that some members are experiencing will be resolved (ie: lower battery life on Win7, no OSD, etc).

I would not worry at all - you should go right ahead and install Win7 32-bit. The 32 bit on my W500 appears very similar to Vista 32, just with a lot of incremental improvements, and a little quicker. It may even be less buggy than Vista, after all those years! Basically you can look at Win7 32 bit as Vista 32 bit; just better. With the right Lenovo drivers, it's great.

Works fine. Just make sure you have the latest Windows 7 drivers from the Lenovo site.
