im looking to buy this laptop from compusa brand new next week

    http://www.compusa.com/applications...ls.asp?EdpNo=5256941&CatId=4948#exchange_info

it comes with windows vista on it and i want to upgrade it to windows 7. My question is will i be able to do a smooth upgrade to windows 7 and have no problems and it run as if it came from the factory with windows 7 ?

or would i have to upgrade and then go searching for drivers and such

Aside from your Windows 7 issues, you'd buy a notebook with a one month warranty? That's a big risk.

no, on the website it is an open box product and comes with only a 1 month warranty, but in the store it is brand new in the box and comes with the 1 year warranty
