wireless keyboard and mouse

Hi, everybody
Are wireless keyboard and mouce very comfortable to use with the lappy?
Shall I have to change the batteries very often?

Personally, I always use my wireless mouse ( Logitech G7 ). I didn't try a keyboard but I think you would be a little too far from your screen with another keyboard. My opinion...

For the batteries... It depends on the model of your mouse and/or keyboard

My idea is to use the laptop with an external screen.
How does the model impact power consumption?
the cheaper the more often to changa batteries?

 

So far, since I've owned my laptop, I've used a wireless Logitech mouse. I was thinking about getting an external screen, but am quite happy with the one on my laptop itself. The keyboard is a dream to type on, so I didn't buy an external keyboard either.

I have a kensington wireless mouse. I change batteries every 2-4 months (recharge them, actually.)

 

It is ok. I thought I would have to do it every week

 

My mouse runs off of 2 AAA batteries. I've had the mouse for about 4 months (since I've bought the laptop) and still running on the same two . The Logitech spec.'s claim the mouse can run on the same AAA batteries for at least one year before putting 2 new ones in.

 

I use the Logitech stuff (non-bluetooth). I need to replace batteries about every 4-6 months. Rechargables also work fine - but need to be recharged every 3 months or so. I like the S510 - but I have others as well.
