I recently traded my old acer for an awsome t60 and im the happiest man alive. Just did a wipe and put on windows xp. After much toil i got all the drivers installed, but theres still one problem:

It recognizes the thinkpad keyboard as a normal keyboard. It does realize the Fn key is on the left, and the forward and backward keys work, but as far as the number keys it doesnt recognize them properly.

Is this a known problem and how can i fix it?

Can you elaborate on "it doesn't recognize them properly"?

Do you mean it does not register and does nothing when you press them?

The hotkey is something ive already installed, so the special Fn functions work properly. F1-F12 keys work as they should, delete and insert work fine too. The only problems are the number keys above the letters and the symbol key on the right of the letters. It recognized these as a standard US keyboard (so @ on shift+2) and not the IBM version (which has the " on the 2).
