    Hi,
    I bought a m1330 (spec my sig) one years ago. I m quite satisfied with it. and now my attention have moved to T400. I 'm thinking selling m1330 to buy a T400. (P9400, 1440x900 LED, HD3470, 2GB ddr3 8500, 6 cell )

but does it worth to do? there are not huge differences so it's better to way next generation of laptops(like Calpella)?

PS: consider I still have 2 year complete cover warranty with Dell

I think the main differences for the t400 are

    pros
    -extra battery life
    -better durability
    -switchable graphics
    -better wifi
    -trackpoint
    -less bloatware(I think)
-keyboard(if you get one that doesnt flex)
    -thinklight(if it doesnt blind you)

    cons
    -will probably loose some money
    -not as thin
    -heavier
    -some might consider it ugly
    -large bezel around screen

I have a sony sz, which is pretty similar to the m1330, and I am in the process of switching...

I don't know how much longer your m1330 will last. In the span of two years, i managed to go through two dell xps m1210s and one xps m1330. I now have a t400 and i can definitely say that i didn't know build quality til i got this computer. While i would consider going from the m1330 to the t400 to be a serious upgrade, if you're satisfied with what you have, why switch?

    m1330 is my first laptop.

satisfied, i mean i've never had a problem with it, and i also satisfied with dell's service lol.

so i don't know if lenovo will be better than dell.

I wan't to switch, cuz may be i can sell m1330 with the same price of a t400 (in my country lol) now.

but are you more satisfied with your t400 than your m1330?

By FAR i am more satisfied with my T400. Every single aspect pertaining to notebooks i can think of is one where the T400 surpasses my m1330. Looks, (yes looks), design, build quality, keyboard, screen, performance, everything. I am more satisfied with my T400 than i expected to be. And also, if you are looking at the different reviews and opinions on the T400, i would take most of them with a grain of salt. While it is possible to find keyboard flex, it is not a big deal, as with most of the problems people have found with the t400 .

If it's not going to cost you anything, then sell it and upgrade! The longer you wait, the less your M1330 will be worth.

If the difference after selling the M1330 and buying the T400 is less than $150, I think it's worth it.

It really depends on how much you can sell the dell for. If you can get a good price on it, then consider getting the T400, so as to not lose too much money.
