    i have T42P 2.10Ghz M processor with 2GB ram

    would the new 1.2Ghz X300 be faster when it comes with 4GB ram ?

    You also have to keep in mind that the X300 has a Core 2 Duo Processor which is much more efficient and faster than the M processor I believe.
